If you are concerned about carbon dioxide emissions produced by travelling to Spain then why not consider carbon offsetting? There are a number of easy to use websites where you can estimate how much carbon dioxide your journey has produced.
e.g. flying London to Valencia generates approximately 0.3 tonnes of carbon dioxide that you can offset by paying £2.35 towards environmental projects. (Return flight correct at September 2006.)

Spain doesn't yet have a countryside code however we always ensure that our guests don't leave litter when out on our walks. Much of the countryside here is covered in forests where accidental fires can be a real danger; consequently we only provide picnics rather than barbecues for walks and organised activities.
