Casa San Juan
Casa San Juan is a recently restored village house in the "pueblo" of Castellnovo. The village lies in the heart of the Alto Palancia, only 2km from the Sierra Espadan Natural Park and 3km from the small town of Segorbe.
The house has been tastefully renovated by two local brothers to form 3 comfortable independent apartments; each one sleeps 6-8.

The ground floor apartment is particularly suitable for families with young children as it has a secure, high-walled terrace.

There is also a smaller studio apartment that sleeps 2. This is at the top of the house and has wonderful 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside from its large open terrace. (This is not suitable for young children).
Castellnovo
The house is in the old part of the village. Off-street parking is available nearby and it is short walk to a children's play area and the village swimming pool (open July & August). The village has a wide range of local amenities including bakers, a pharmacy, bars, banks, butchers and a cheese maker.
Castellnovo is a thriving traditional agricultural village where many of the locals still tend their small market gardens in the surrounding countryside; olives, almonds and persimmon are important crops here. The village dates back many centuries, retaining it's original Arabic structure & narrow streets and is overlooked by the remains of the 14 th century castle of Beatrice the Borgia. Local fiestas take place here throughout the year; one of the busiest attracting an international audience is the Entrada in Segorbe during September.
Castellnovo is easily accessible by road and is only 30 mins from Valencia airport and city centre. The nearest station is Segorbe (3km).
